STEP ONE:
CREATE YOUR PROFILE AND CONNECT IT TO YOUR ASSIGNED SCHOOL.
The system will need to collect your personal information (home, phone, school) to ensure we have paired the correct student to its corresponding profile.
STEP TWO:
SELECT YOUR GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES*
*THESE ARE REQUIRED.
There are a set of general education courses that are required to meet Maryland State and Baltimore City Education standards. These courses must be completed by the time of graduation. The order in which these courses are completed are up to you. Advisement will be provided for further assistance.
STEP THREE:
SELECT UP TO 4 PATHWAY ELECTIVES THAT ARE RELATIVE TO YOUR PERSONAL GOALS, INTEREST, AND NEEDS.
Pathway electives are offered to personalized your high school experience. Engage in up to 4 courses a year. This can be Sports Management, Real Estate, or Personal Finance.
Pathways can be offered as:
Lectures
Excursions (off-site experiences/trainings)
Labs (on-site experiences/trainings)
STEP FOUR:
SUBMIT YOUR PROFILE TO YOUR SCHOOL’S EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS ADVISOR.
All Baltimore City schools have a team of assigned Educational Success Advisors who are there to support with course planning, graduation requirements, and other curriculum-based needs.

CHARM CITY CHOICE YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL holds a group of students enrolled in the 9th-12th grade school systems within Maryland State. Each county/city has a youth representative who ensures the learning environments, learnings, and curriculums are congruent across the State. This ensures Equality, Unity, and Hope for a brighter future.
